Transportation Worker Identification Credential enrollment deadline for the U.S. Virgin Islands draws near

Editor's Note: The members of the press should arrive at the GeoNet facilities no later than 10 a.m. to check in with security and present their media credentials.  The members of the press will then be escorted by security to the location where the press conference will take place. 

SAINT CROIX, U.S. Virgin Islands - Senior leaders from the U.S. Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration in the U.S. Virgin Islands, will conduct a press conference to inform the public and advise transportation workers that they should enroll as soon as possible to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).  A TWIC card will be required from workers upon the national compliance deadline to gain unescorted access to secure port facilities in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
